2. Hosting & server logs

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA). When you visit the site, Vercel automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, date and time of access, and the pages requested. This is technically necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest). Vercel processes data under EU Standard Contractual Clauses; log data is retained only as long as required for operation and security.

3. Contact form

If you use our contact form, we process the details you provide (name, email address, your message, and optional project or meeting preferences) solely to handle your enquiry (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps prior to entering into a contract). Messages are delivered to us via the email service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) acting as our processor. We keep your enquiry for as long as needed to handle it and any resulting business relationship, after which it is deleted unless statutory retention periods apply.

4. Reach measurement (cookie-less)

We run a simple, self-hosted page-view counter. It records which page was viewed and the referring website. When a contact form is submitted successfully, one additional anonymous counting event is recorded so we know the form was used — this event contains none of the form’s contents or your personal details. The counter sets no cookies, uses no fingerprinting, builds no visitor profiles, and shares no data with advertising networks (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in understanding aggregate site usage).

5. No cookies, no third-party tracking

This website sets no tracking cookies and embeds no third-party analytics, advertising pixels or social media plugins. Fonts are served from our own hosting — no requests are made to font providers such as Google Fonts.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for us, the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA, Ansbach, Germany).
